My Story

A bit of history

My call was early on – in 1970 under a kitchen table in a Church of God home sing. God called me to service in proclaiming His Kingdom and the Good News of Christ. I have studied, taught, preached and worked to this goal all my Christian life! I hunger to know and do the will of my Father in heaven.

I have worked as an exhorter in the Church of God in Illinois, a Church of God District Youth Director in New York and co-pastor of the Pentecostal Servicemen fellowship in AFCENT NATO. I have also worked in the Assembly of God Church in Danville as a Sunday School teacher to young married people, then in Urbana Assembly as a teacher for married people. As the internet came up, I saw this as a rich mission field. I used my talent in online technology to minister to the needs of the body of Christ online. Today I am a pastoral intern with Vineyard Church Urbana Campus.

I have been licensed by Rev. Slim Thompson and spoken at his home church several times. I have been ordained on line by UNTCI. My current and active connection is to the Vineyard USA in membership in the local Urbana  Campus. I am in 100% agreement with the core values and doctrinal statements of Vineyard USA. I am called of the LORD and know that I am still learning how better serve and fulfill this great commission. I submit to Vineyard as my help in ‘doing the stuff’. I am not perfect and am still learning – but in HIM I am perfected by the grace of GOD and ready to go and do his will.
